Excess algae growth and poor water quality are a result of high nutrient content. Traditional water quality and algae control involves periodic bacterial treatment to reduce nutrients, and physical or chemical removal of nuisance algae. While all of these treatments can be effective, none are long term nor complete in terms of level of control achieved.
The ASI Bacterial Injection System reduces the need for physical or chemical algae control because it employs continuous bacterial injection. The System treatment centers use a specialized bacteria injector and water distribution manifold to deliver a constant stream of water treated with nutrient and sludge consuming bacteria to all areas of the lake.
